A mother, teacher, a highly respected and recognised BACP therapist, and a client of therapy yourself, Helen Smith has a somewhat unique perspective on the power and possibility that’s represented by time spent in the company of a brilliant therapist. For her, therapy transitioned from being a lifeline in the darkness to an adventure; it’s exactly this essence of uncovering potential that she aspires to create for her own clients.

Helen has a brilliantly warm and balanced person. You just get the sense that nothing can phase her. Ever. And what a brilliant quality that is when you’re feeling untethered in life, and want to find somebody to make sense of what you’re feeling - and, more importantly, to find a way forward.

Helen has taken enormous care to create an environment that makes her clients feel safe, welcome and protected. The space she meets clients in is as important as the therapy itself - or, rather, it plays into the overall experience that clients come to her for. No sterile offices and Ikea chairs here - instead, a beautiful room at the front of a Georgian townhouse, painted in Farrow and Ball shades - with plush sofas, plenty of books and fresh flowers. As much as possible, we wanted to capture this sense of space through her brand - which is rich, thoughtful and infused with gentle femininity.
