Proud to Present: a restful, welcoming brand for Kilden Mor
The brand we created for Kilden Mor has to be one of my favourites of recent months. Lovely Sarah White, who owns Kilden Mor with her husband, is a returning client of ours having hired us to create the brand for her marketing consultancy three years ago. Now bringing us an entirely fresh business, it was a great pleasure to work with her to craft the identity for a business so new that it hasn’t even been built yet.
Enchanted by the magic of walking along the coastline, breathing in fresh sea air with the wind on their faces, Cornwall holds a special place in Sarah and Dave’s hearts. And so they were inspired to create their very own retreat by the sea; somewhere infinitely comfortable with everything you could ever need right at your fingertips.
Kilden Mor is set to be an incredibly luxury home, situated in the beautiful coastal town of Padstow. With rugged coastlines, endless beaches and stunning views, Padstow is widely recognised not only for its scenery but its food. With fresh seafood on the doorstep and an abundance of restaurants, Padstow has a thriving restaurant culture and foodies flock to it. Kilden Mor offers the luxury accommodation that provides the style and finish of a boutique hotel with the privacy of space which is exclusively yours. A celebration of modern architecture and design, thought has been lavished upon every last detail of the generous living space, which features modern touches and a premium finish throughout. With huge windows welcoming in an abundance of natural light, guests will enjoy expansive views of the estuary and the sense of being in tune with the changing weather, no matter the time of year.
Given the rising popularity of Padstow and the surrounding Cornish towns (not to mention the increased desire for staycations in light of the Covid-19 pandemic), the marketplace is busy and competitive. It’s was essential for Sarah and Dave’s business that we get the positioning of Kilden Mor right, clearly occupying a high end, luxury space with an offering that’s unlike the many alternative accommodation.
The mood we wanted to create for this brand was one of relaxed, easy abundance. Keen to echo the wildness and freedom of the seaside without losing an inch of elegance, we’ve embraced cool colours, windswept imagery and the lightness of vast skies for a brand which is both luxurious and welcoming.
