Proud to Present: a warm and gorgeous brand for Creaturekind

Helen Greenley at Creaturekind is a highly qualified and sought-after clinical animal behaviourist and trainer. One of the rare few to be able to work with dogs and cats, Helen offers an array of services to help animals and their human companions to lead more happy, fulfilled lives together. Helen is a passionate advocate for science-based, kind training methods and has a firm focus on building partnerships between animals and people which is underpinned with a foundation of trust.

As Helen’s business evolved, she became aware that her current brand no longer reflected her vision, and so approached Ditto for a fresh identity which embodied the spirit and essence of her training practice. As part of a drive to elevate her brand and business, Helen decided it was time to give the business its own name. We settled upon Creaturekind, which absolutely captures Helen’s unique work.

The brand we’ve created is warm and rich, embracing earthy colours for a sense of strength and solidity. Crucially, this is echoed through the photography we’ve curated for the Creaturekind brand. Working purely with stock images, we’ve created a really distinctive style simply with conscious choices around the colours, tones and feel of the images we’ve used. Photography has such a huge impact on how a brand feels that you really owe it to your business to get that right! Obviously, in an ideal world we’d all hire a professional photographer to build an image library that’s exclusively ours, but when that’s not possible you can do a great job with stock images if you dedicate some careful thought to the process.

I absolutely LOVE the warmth of this brand, and the way it balances Helen’s academic approach with an honesty and character that oozes from every single detail. The imagery, the typography, the illustrations… it all comes together to create a rather brilliant effect.
